Visit a Tennessee Driver Services Center
You can visit the Department personally to check your license status. Check the driver service centers for more information. Your license can be used as an identity document. Alternatively, you may provide your date of birth, name, and license number.

There are fields in which you need to enter information like your driver’s license number, name, and date of birth. You will also need to enter the last four digits of your SSN. Checking a License Status by Phone
Call 615-251-5166 to get information about your license status in Tennessee. You will be asked to provide your date of birth, last name, and driver’s license number. Note that not everything is revealed by phone. You can check if your license is revoked, suspended, canceled, or valid. However, don’t expect to get any details about your driving records.
Check Your Driving History
Do you want to check your TN driving history? Remember that there is a fee that should be paid to receive a report. If you want to print your report right from the Tennessee department website, be ready to pay $7. The reports can also be ordered by mail or personally at a Driver Service Center. This action implies a fee of $5. It takes up to two weeks for reports to be mailed or delivered.
